One Year Down, Millions to go (:

Yesterday was our one year anniversary!
Yeah yeah, I know what you're thinking,

"this trick went and got married and then got knocked up after three months."
Hahaha funny you would think that.
Let me tell you what happened ...

One of my newer friends bragged about how her brother in the army was coming home on leave
and how she wanted to show him a good time.
She asked if I would throw a party at my house so that she could bring him.
Naturally, I said yes, not really caring about who her brother was,
more because I just wanted to have a party at my house.
Well let me tell you, when that gorgeous man walked through my door,
my entire mindset was changed. I instantly fell in love.
I even told my mom the next day that I had met the man I was going to marry.
(Rumor has it that he bragged a bit about how amazing I was too!)
Well we hung out the rest of his leave and continued talking when he went back to his post.
I came to visit him a couple times and we just knew that we were perfect for each other.
We had talked here and there about getting married.
I came to New York to visit once again around cinco de mayo.
He picked me up from the airport and he said we had to make a quick stop
on the way to his barracks. We stopped at the Clerks office.
When we were walking up to the building Christopher got down on his knee ,
pulled out a 50 cent ring , and asked me to marry him. It was the goofiest , cutest thing ever
. I wouldn't have had it any other way.
We had a bachelor/bachelorette party at his friends house
and then the next day , May 7 2012 , we got married (:

Our story obviously isn't the perfect little fairy tale story that everyone has.
We obviously didn't have a huge wedding for everyone to watch and enjoy.
But I wouldn't change our story one bit.
It's our little "The Notebook" story and I love it.

We plan to have a wedding in Ohio so that our family can be apart of everything.
(They were kind of upset that we got married without them)
we were going to do it this year but our little Cayden put a delay on that.

So that's our perfect little story (:
and I can't believe it's already been a year.
We've already been through so much together , it's crazy.
Christopher is definitely the perfect man for me
and I'm so happy that I snagged him up right away.
He is absolutely amazing.
I could honestly go on and on about how awesome of a husband he is
and about all the things he has done for me and is still doing
However, I'll save that for his ears.

Also, here is one sneak peek of our not-so-newborn pictures we got done the other day
(it was hard to get pictures with being in and out of the hospital)

Aaanndd this is the fun Cayden and I had today ...
