Our weekend was pretty lazy.
The more pregnant I get, the more bummy we get.
Friday It's so bad that I can't even remember what we did. Ugh that's just terrible.
Saturday the hubbs went for a morning workout with his friend Medina. He ended up coming home with two DELICIOUS cupcakes from the store next to the YMCA. They were amazing I tell ya! That gave me all the motivation I needed to get my lazy butt out of bed. We got ready for the day and ended up walking around the mall. We returned a couple duplicate gifts to Burlington Coat Factory, grabbed some wings at Bdubs, and then went grocery shopping! The rest of the night we spent laying around the house.
Sundaywe didn't do much either. Chris took our puppy on a run we ran to the gas station and the dollar store to get a few things. Then Medina came over to watch The Walking Dead.
Oh, and I must not forget. I was cooking us dinner and noticed my neighbors dog outside shivering. I waited and watched him for a little bit to see if they would let him inside. Well after I finished cooking and crying to my husband, I couldn't take it any longer. It's been 17 degrees out and the sun is starting to go down! I walked my butt right over to their door and knocked. No answer. So I went back into my house and grabbed a blanket, took it over to the poor freezing dog, and left them a note in the mail box. I was heart broken. They returned home an hour and a half later, Finally putting the poor baby inside!
I think it's time for a Pregnancy update.
As of today, I am 34weeks and 2days. Time is starting to slow down.
My body is full of aches and pains. Especially in my ribs.
Sleep has become non existent and stress has really kicked in.
My belly still measures small, but baby Cayden is doing fine.
On a brighter note, we have officially purchased everything we NEED.
There are still a few little things that I would like to get but they aren't necessities.
My little note to any prego's out there:
If you're as worried as me about getting stretch marks, Vitamin E oil needs to become part of your daily routine. I put it on every day after I get out of the shower and I have yet to see one stretch mark. I also use cocca butter on my belly when it itches, but I wouldn't depend on that to prevent stretch marks.

Sounds like a great weekend! Cupcakes are always a great motivation to get up! So glad the poor dog didn't have to wait outside too long!

I was definitely one of those mommies who was totally worried about stretch marks. I've made it through two pregnancies without any, thank you Lord! I never rubbed anything on my belly because I've read it's hereditary (thanks for the good genes, Mom), though. Might have to try that next time.
ReplyDeleteThat poor dog! I would have reported the owners to the authorities.
ReplyDeleteawe that poor pup! I would have brought him over to play with mine most definitely!
